19 IBUs. All Mt. Rainier hops. Drat. Went to the First Tap last night and the music was much better than the beer. The David Grisman Quintet was great. Unfortunately, this pale which was advertised to showcase the citrusy qualities ofMt. Rainier hops was less enjoyable. It was gold color with a fine head that had adequate retention. The aroma however was slightly earthy and grassy but not citrusy nor pleasant. The flavor was slightly bitter with little bland hop flavor and moderate malt frame. The mouthfeel was chalky and hard to swallow. I choked it down and focused on the music. Not sure if the hops were stale, mishandled or what but this one needs some help. Bummer, I usually like the First Tap brews.
