On tap at the pub, Moose's Tooth Mai Bock is clear auburn with a wispy white skim of head.
Smell is very neutral, just some light bread.
Taste is also neutral, clean, with pretty bitter finish, and not sweet and rich like I associate with the style. In fact, it's more like a regular German larger, if not a good one.
Mouthfeel is crisp, with a light body.
Drinkability is pretty good, but it could use more oomph, residual sugars, to clearly distinguish itself as a maibock. Average German style lager all around, and I'll leave it at that...
