Pours a clear, deep brown hue with a thick white head and sticky lacing. Aromas of chocolate, vanilla, roast malt and nuttiness. Tastes of roasted malt, vanilla & chocolate and nuttiness (victory or biscuit malt). Very clean and easy drinking with a pleasant toasted malt finish. Has a medium/heavy body and medium carbonation. An exceptional malty brown with stronger notes of vanilla that blend well with the finish.

Pours an almost opaque super dark crimson-brown with a foamy khaki head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Tiny dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of toasted malt, roasted nut, chocolate syrup, and raw sugar aromas. Taste is much the same with toast, nut, and burnt cocoa flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of toast bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an average beer that is drinkable but nothing memorable.
