Had at Express on nitro and took home a growler as well. Fantastic taste, one of my Top 5 beer flavor experiences.

On tap at Escape Craft Brewery in Redlands, CA.

Pours a deep black with a thick tan head. Thick sticky lacing as the beer goes down. Aromas of roasted malt and fresh brewed coffee. Tastes of sweet roasted malt, burnt malt, chocolate, strong coffee and finishes with a malt y rounded coffee note. Medium body and medium carbonation level. A clean and complex stout that goes really well when mixed with the vanilla lager. Very balanced for the style and mix of malts and coffee flavors.

On tap at Escape Craft Brewery in Redlands, CA.

Pours an opaque black with a foamy dark khaki head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of dark roasted malt, cocoa powder, coffee bean, and brewed coffee aromas. Taste is much the same with cocoa powder, coffee bean, brewed coffee, and slight char flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of roast bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with nice coffee forward qualities all around.

Serving type: on tap.

A solid chocolatey milk stout with faint coffee accents.
