Pours a hazy reddish amber hue with a thin white head and thin lacing on the way down.. Aromas of rye spice and citrus and a little caramel malt. Tastes of spicy, burnt caramel and a strong hoppy bite. Finishes with a rounded caramel malt sweetness and earthiness. This beer has a medium body and medium carbonation level. A clean mix of styles between rye ipa and imperial red with a balanced finish. Definitely a good cool weather brew.

Pours a hazy reddish-orange with a foamy bone head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Tiny dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of grape juice, grape jelly, and grape Tootsie Pop aromas. Taste is much the same with watery rye, grape juice, and earth flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat mouthfeel. Overall, this is a below average beer that definite shows rye and hop aspects, but the flavors are quite watery.
Serving type: on tap.

This is a decent and fairly standard red IPA.
