Pours a hazy deep red with a thin head and thick sticky lacing as it goes down. Aromas of burnt caramel, caramel malt and toffee. Tastes of Caramel malt and burnt caramel with a slight heat from the alcohol content. Finishes with a rounded malty sweetness. Has a medium body and low carbonation. A pretty good high ABV beer that could use a little tweaking but not a bad young imperial ale.

Pours a hazy reddish-orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to wisps of film on top of the beer. Foamy swaths of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of fruit punch, grape juice, and grape jelly aromas. Taste is much the same with fruit punch and grape jelly flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is an average beer that smells and tastes more like a kids drink than beer.

A solid amber ale. Not overly hopped and the 10% ABV is undetectable. This one will sneak up on you.
