Pours a clear orange/amber hue with a thin quick dropping head and thin lacing on the way down. Aromas of rye spice, lemon peel, orange peel and soft piney. Tastes of rye spice, malty and citrus orange and lime flavors with a spicy rounded malt finish. Has a light crisp body and light carbonation. An easy drinking citrusy IPA that is very drinkable and again very well balanced. Very easy to drink more than one

Pours a clear orange with a foamy khaki head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small patches of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of rye, orange juice, pine needle, and cedar aromas. Taste is much the same with rye, citrus zest, grapefruit juice, and wood flavors on the finish. There is a medium amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a low level of carbonation with an almost flat mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with an interesting mix of rye, citrus, and wood qualities all around.
Serving type: on tap.
