“IPA is so over,” they said. “Everyone’s making an IPA or three. Why even bother,” they said. Then we sit at the pub and we order IPA because IPA is delicious and you should just have one. This one exhibits grapefruit and passionfruit, with a bit of cooling spruce on the finish.

22oz bottle served in pint glass. Beer pours murky, brownish orange with minimal head formation. Aroma is malty sweet and fruity. Flavor brings more astringency than bitterness, if that's possible. The grain flavor is very neutral but provides the necessary. The result is a drinkable unfiltered IPA, but it reminds me a bit of homebrew.

Dark orangey amber with a modest foam in the Ciney snifter. Some sweet malt on the lips. Woody, and leafy, that ends with a bitter herbal taste. Some tangerine peel in the nose. A touch of hop candy and something like the vanilla flavor of oak.
Quite malty and fruity, orange tang with a bitter, burnt edge. Less interesting than some, but quite pleasant overall though with an emphasis on the bitter aftertaste. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at Central Market - Shoreline.

L - slight haze, seems intentional in the style of unfiltered IPAs, gold-orange with thin white head
S - pine first, and citrus secondary, with scent of malt
T - decent overall, with good balance of hops and malts; no standout flavor and a fairly bitter-pine aftertaste
F - medium, not distinguished but nothing wrong, either
O - a decent, drinkable IPA; just not a standout for me, and the bitterness of the aftertaste wasn't my favorite, though it's within bounds for this style.

I had this beer on-tap in a pint glass at the brewery.
Appearance: medium orange hue with a light haze and a finger of ivory foam. Attractive!
Smell: piney, citrusy hops with a nice freshness. This is dry hopped with Citra and it shows.
Taste: flavor tracks the aroma well; fresh citrusy hops with a good bitterness. Well balanced!
Mouthfeel: medium body with a decent carbonation and creaminess.
Overall: I like this beer a lot. A classic West Coast IPA. Drinks like a charm!

Served from 12oz bottle
A — Presents itself with an orangey hued amber, there is a puffy off-white colored head on it and there is nice lacing left behind.
S — Smells of fresh bright hops, little bit of citrus and pine, as well as a distinct malt undertone.
T — Great balance of malt and hop, neither one overpowers the other.
M — Light-Medium bodied, a bit sticky. Nice and easy drinking.
O — Pretty nice overall, good balance here.
