Poured from 500mL bottle into a tulip.
Appearance: medium golden hue with a light haze and a nice effervescence. Head is a finger of frothy white foam; it's pretty!
Smell: sweet with some apple-and-pear aroma; it's nice, but it's a bit mild.
Taste: malty and sweet, with a bit of alcohol heat and some orchardy fruit character. I like it, but I feel like it could use a little cleaning up.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a big carbonation and a good creaminess.
Overall: this beer just needs a bit of cleaning up, and it'd be a really good BSPA. It's not bad, but a little less sharpness and heat would help a lot.
