Clear amber color. Poured a medium head that collapsed to larger bubbles in half a minute and then to a thin skiff with some medium bubbles after another couple of minutes. Medium flow of small bubbles rising from the bottom of the glass. Left a few small dots of lace.
Light barnyard scent over top of some stonefruit, mostly peaches. Something is a bit peppery. Faint malt. The barnyard quickly disappeared. Swirling the glass kicked up the light barnyard again, and a much stronger sweet peach smell. The scents faded back to the original set with the barnyard again disappearing.
Medium bitters. Just a hint of stonefruit flavor. Light malt. Just a hint of sweetness. The aftertaste is a much stronger bitter that clears out the residual flavors. Nothing complex, just a good basic ale.
Light tongue prickling. Turned into a heavy foam, but not creamy. Surprisingly heavy body, felt thick and oily after a while.
Good basic pale ale; a bit above average. Maybe a touch more bitters in the aftertaste than typical. The peach is a little added bonus.
