330ml bottle poured into a pint glass.
Hazy pale gold in color with thick frothy white head, it stands with good retention before gradually collapsing to some everlasting silky bubble atop along with lots of patchy lace on the glass-side, high visible carbonation.
The aromas of orange peel, some twang of wheat, citrusy hop, lemon, kaffir lime, some earthiness and grassiness, as well as bread and sweet caramel malt. The scent of orange is sharp and it can be in good or bad way but this one is something between, for me it is just a bit flat.
Mainly hoppy in the taste with notes of citrus, lime, some earthy and grassy, yet a bit spice. Malt is there to balance with notes of sweetness, bread, toffee, and caramel while it is hop again reclaiming the palate with its aforementioned characters and slight bitter finish.
Light to medium body with rather smooth mouthfeel from some lively carbonation through the palate, it is crisp and refreshing with a dry finish.
Pretty good mix of Belgian wit and APA, the American hop imparts its new world character of intense zesty citrus upon the traditional Belgian wit making it quite interesting and very drinkable.
