330ml bottle poured into a pint glass.
Cloudy golden orange color with lots of yeast sediment and the formation of very thick creamy white head, it stays with very good retention and slowly dissipates to everlasting foamy crown. There is some lacing sticking here and there.
The traditional weizen aroma of banana, citrus, lime, clove, pepper, and bubblegum can be sensed first through a nose. Hop reinforces with a cut of grapefruit, floral, and grass along with malt with its soft sweetness, wheat grain, and bread.
The taste is more IPA like with bold earthy and grassy hop bitterness that covers the taste buds and sinks everything beneath. It is led to dull medicinal palate where the yeasty ester and malt try to blend in with notes of weizen fruitiness and tartness as well as breadiness but they are not strong enough to counterbalance against the intensity of bitterness.
Light to medium body with some good crisp and lively carbonation to generate quite smooth mouthfeel and refreshing touch through the palate, finish is dry.
Unfortunately, things go well until when it comes to the most important part, the taste. It is lack of dimension and balance, however, not that bad considering in overall.
