Ok, so maybe this beer went bad? I picked up a 22 at a local bottle shop. Should be ok I think. But man, this beer did not live up to the reviews in my opinion. I've had other beers from Culmination & the were fine. Looks good, pale orange, cloudy, solid retention and lacing. But that's as good as it got. This one tasted like rubbing alcohol and yeast. A touch of hops bitterness, with some overripe fruit notes. Aroma was similar, musty and dank. Vaporous. Not well balanced or enjoyable in any way. I'm going to have to revisit this beer before I change my review.

22 oz bomber purchased from Lifesource in Salem OR $5.99 Cloudy orange coloured ale with a gorgeous frothy and thick off white head. Fruity, young fresh pine hop aromas. Lemon zest, orange marmalade and spruce. Taste similar but more weighted to the orange zest aspect. No alcohol. Nice well carbonated palate..easy to drink and again no hint of alcohol. A very nice and easy to drink IIPA.

Head quickly fades to a ring. Nose is pineapple, mango, apple juice. Very sweet smell. Taste follows the nose but less aggressively, followed by slight hop presence. Perhaps hop flavor is muted by the oats? Overall great beer but id expect more hop flavor from a week old imperial IPA.
