Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a fairly thick bronzed golden color with a small white semi-foamy head subsiding nicely. Light speckled lace dotted my glass.
The aroma had a wonderful blend of apricot to tangerine to grapefruity sweet hop presence. Light remnants of sweet creamy dough slide in underneath. Floral hop character, somewhat like lavender are even further underneath.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet floral to tangerine and apricot blend. Mild aftertaste of floral hops, tangerines and grapefruit.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt just a touch higher than the normal New England styled IPA but I wasn't bothered by that. Semi-sticky finish of tangerines, grapefruit and sweet floral hops.
Overall, really nice DIPA almost a New England styled one but also not so much, still worthy of coming back to.

Can. Looks like pretty much every other NE IPA. Grapefruit tangerine aroma with some raw dough. Medium bready fruity sweetness with citrusy light bitterness and a little spice riding on a very fine lively carbo. Medium body. Prety good for an NE-style IPA.
