From a 16oz. can purchased at the beer store.

Super sweet on the nose. Flavor carries some of this through, with fruity, malty overtones and a bitter finish. It's West Coast, but not really "old school" West Coast. I find it a little on the sweet side and the ABV is showing through higher than the numbers indicate. Good brew though. Pleasant break from the hazy madness.

Pours golden yellow from the can, one-inch head that recedes leaving nice pockets of foam on the surface and minimal lacing. Nose is sweet - mango/tropical fruits, candy sugar - some resins, hint of vanilla. Taste follows with a mix of orange in there, but lacking punch from the hops, though isn't too sweet either - I suppose "balanced" would be the word. Crisp, refreshing mouthfeel, alcohol is hidden. Overall reminds of a dialed-back Stone IPA - not as aggressively hopped and lacking as well in its tropical, resinous sweetness.

A: The beer is relatively clear yellow in color and has some hues of amber along with a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that quickly settled down, leaving lacing on the surface and the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grapefruit and lime citrus are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of orange and lime citrus along with notes of lychee fruit. There is a light to moderate amount of associated bitterness from the hops.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and a little crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer doesn't seem to have as much of an aggressive hop profile and bitterness compared to other West Coast IPAs, so it is a little easier to drink compared to others in this particular style.
