Pours a very dark mahogany brown, appearing opaque black in the glass with a thin khaki head that dissipates to patches with light lacing. Aroma of dark toasted malt, bourbon, vanilla, light cocoa and coconut. Flavor follows closely; dark toasted malt, bourbon, vanilla and some light cocoa and coconut. Medium bodied with light to moderate creaminess. A solid, bourbon and vanilla forward barreled stout. Wish I had tasted them side by side because this tastes quite a bit like my review of the vanilla version. Although vanilla is dominant in the flavor, it is at a nice, mellow level. Like the other versions, the base has a milk stout style profile which works well with the vanilla and light cocoa. The bourbon barreling is well done. Could use a touch more cocoa to match its name, but very good and flavorful. Culmination is winning me over to vanilla stouts.
