Quickly dissipating tan head. A little murky looking, dark brown color, with a bit of caramel highlights, bottom of glass. smells like cinnamon and Mexican chocolate, with a bit of a sweet dark malt note. A good amount of Mexican chocolate, a touch of cinnamon and off dry (nearly sweet), darkly roasted grains, with very tiny bite. Medium bodied with a good finish.
Written on can: Stout with cinnamon, candy cap mushrooms, and cocoa nibs. Fermented with Norwegian kveik (yeast) from the Gjernes farmstead.
