Our flagship brew, Roedy’s Red is a classic American amber with bold hop and malt characteristics. Traditional two-row and caramel malts create its unique body while Warrior and Amarillo hops give personality to its aroma and finish. This amber ale has won several state-wide competitions including several People’s Choice Awards.

Enjoyed from the tap at Gibbie's Pub and Eatery, Morgantown, WV on the way home from moving B&B, 8/26/25
Beautiful copper red in the glass. Not much of a head, very tight foam around the edge and across half the surface area.
Nice sweet caramel maltiness in aroma. Deep breadiness lingers in the nostrils.
Quick bitter bite on the tongue followed by sweet molasses and malt. Finishes bitter grapefruit rind.

This has been on my list for awhile to try. I'm glad I got to it. Poured from a growler the head rises up, not a big one...but it hangs around for awhile. Smells nice, malty and nutty what we like in a red ale. Taste follows up, long bitter drawn out at the end. After reading and seeing some of the reviews this is much better than expected. Bell's amber perhaps is the yardstick amber I've had in the states but this one is pretty good. A bit higher on the ABV which would keep me from guzzling a lot these but its quite good.

Very enjoyable brew, personally I'm partial to IPAs so I prefer the 5 way they brew but this is a goto if offered and you do not want all the aggressive hops that come with the 5 way

I only settled on this beer because they were out of the IPA... Again. I was actually surprised by this beer, it won't blow your socks off, but it was an easy drinker and had a surprisingly high hop profile for the style.
