Live review via the Blackberry. Ok this is the N.E.T.s, new and improved porter. The beer is pitch black with a mocha head that leaves some spotty lacing. The smell is light but I get some chocolate malt and some faint dark fruit. Wow this tastes like a RIS ultra light, roasted chocolate malt some light dark fruit and a flash of bitterness. The feel is medium body with a bit of slickness. The drinkability is not bad. Overall this reminds me of a low alcohol RIS, not too bad but not a porter IMO.
