This is a fantastic beer and somewhat distinctive. Its character is not quite like any other, making it stand out amongst Amrerican/West Coast IPAs and double IPAs. It is balanced, complex, and characterful. It has complex yeasty, citrusy, minerally, spicy hops backed with subtle but firm light sweetness. The malt, mineral, yeast and hops playin\g well together in a wonderfully complex balance. Flavourful and characterful, amazingly drinkable for the strength and body. As of Oct. 2019, the best beer I've had at Shady Oak by far but it is an excellent beer.
