2019 vintage aged in Cabernet barrels for 9 months
Purchased at Roth's Market in West Salem OR
500ml bottle. $7.99
Pours a very dark brown with cola coloured hints. Small tan head, leaves nice lase down the glass.
Can certainly small the Cabernet. Gorgeous aroma really and I don't even like wine that much! Below the wine there is rich hearty toasty malts..
Taste is slightly tart, winey , brown whole meal bread toast, blackberries, prunes and gooseberries. Delightful.
Mouth feel is medium with nice carbonation.
An excellent beer at a good price for the style.
