Look: Crystal clear light copper with an admirable head that billows up and quickly settles to a film, leaving minimal lacing behind
Aroma: Freshly baked bread, pilsner malt, cereal grains, floral hop notes, light wafts of honey, and soda crackers
Taste: Pilsner malt, soda crackers, flowers, and honey show up to kick it off as bready malt and grains weave in and out some before solidifying into the mix. Closes with grains, floral hops, and light sweetness
Mouthfeel: Light but not watery at all, medium-high carbonation, very clean and crisp throughout, and that remains true on the finish as well
Overall: I dig it. This is a tasty beer, a welcome release during these early-onset-of-summer hot days, and from a brewery I personally think is very underrated. This tastes a lot like a ‘baby’ version of their Resurrection Pilsner (which is a good thing) and I don’t taste or smell rampant or obvious adjuncts, which is a huge plus for me when breweries make these “cerveza-style” lagers. Refreshing, delicious, and definitely worth the purchase
