On tap at PaPPo's Columbia. Poured a dark amber color with a small, khaki-colored head of foam. It smelled of dried fruit, toffee and roasted malt. Sweet toffee, caramel and dried dark fruits.

Pours a clear, mahogany. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of a hint of sweet malt, hint of Belgian yeast, hint of alcohol, slight citrus, and a hint of floral. Fits the style of a Belgian Strong Dark Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and crisp, with an average carbonation level. Tastes of slight yeast, slight sweet malt, slight alcohol, slight citrus, hint of floral, and hint of hops. Overall, weak appearance, good aroma, complex blend, but the body is rather muted compared to the aroma.
