Poured from a growler fresh from the brewery.
Looks a nice orange copper with a white head, slightly cloudy.
Smells pretty hoppy but nothing standing out. A blend of pine resin, grapefruit, and caramel malts.
Taste is solid, again some hops but a nice crisp malt backbone. Good bitterness and nice finish.
Overall, it's either a nice blend of flavors or just a little bit too muddled that no one aspect really stands out.
A decent IPA - nothing super special, but it's pretty good. Could certainly drink another.

Had on tap yesterday into a pint glass. Pours a clear copper color with a white head that fizzles down to just a bit of cloudiness on top of the beer.
Aroma seems to be pretty hoppy, classic resin and herbal notes with a bit of grapefruit. Some underlying malt caramel sweetness, too. Starts with a medium amount of caramel malts, pretty sweet at first. Bitter hops wash it away with notes of grapefruit and pine resin. Finishes pretty neutral / slightly wet. Medium bodied.
Overall it's a basic American IPA that was popular 10 years ago. They're going to either have to beef it up or try something new to compete in this market if they want to stay alive. The malts were too powerful and the beer was too heavy and sweet, leaving a bit to be desired from this.
