its literally shocking to me how much cool beer stuff is happening in this tiny little town, like, so many breweries and beer bars and all kinds of stuff, yet it never seems like anyone is around anywhere, i wonder how they all survive. this place is neat though, they have an absolute ton of handles, with a small brewery in the back and a cozy taproom vibe, about six or eight of their own beers on, the rest is tired colorado stuff. everyone these days has to do all colorado, out of state beer is a pariah, but one of these samey businesses would do well to incorporate something else. yeah there is a lot of beer in colorado, but the world is big, and this is painting yourself into a corner a little bit. forget all that though (might as well), they have some cool house brews, i had a sake yeast fermented ipa and a berry quad, both of which were inventive and weird in a good way, and they make this place worth going into even if the same old colorado beers occupy the rest of the lines. yummy house brews for sure, competent, they should promote this part of what they do a little more, its not obvious to an outsider, but these were some seriously great beers. ill be back next time i am out this way, i dig what they are doing in terms of beer and the place is mellow and cool.
