Solid Golden color with practically no head.
Aroma with notes of green apples, Cointreau drops, cloves, perfume and white wine.
Flavor with notes of cloves, herbal and perfumy hops, Belgian yeast, Cointreau liquor, candi sugar or coconut, green apples and white wine. Dry aftertaste with a medium bitterness.
Medium body with slightly effervescent carbonation. Alcohol of 8.2% complements its flavor.
I found this Belgian Tripel somewhat overly sweet, though still faithful to style. Phenolic driven, particularly cloves.
