Poured into an all-purpose wine glass on Aug. 11, 2015.
Mountain of dense, rocky white head with great retention and sporadic, crystalline lacing. Suitably cloudy copper body with golden-brown highlights. Sediment in the bottle, which I decided to swirl and pour as well.
Lavender, pineapple, and mint on the nose. Very bright, fresh like an herb garden.
Intense tip-of the tongue bitterness, herbal and peppery, which fades to tropical fruit with a savory rosemary note. High carbonation, dry, long lasting herbal finish carried by moderate perception of alcohol with woodsy tannin.
This is a complex beer and one which I really enjoyed sipping. Bravo.
