When we started brewing we had no idea what this beer was going to be. We mashed Maris Otter and Caracoled malt and borrowed El Dorado and Columbus hops from our neighbors. Sometimes you just need to go freestyle.

330ml can served in my Spiegelau IPA glass. Best before 21/02/2017 printed on the can. Pours a dull burnt orange with a murky clarity and a fizzy, 2.5 inch, off-white head that sizzles and crackles as it quickly dissipates into a soapy froth. Some spots of lacing, but weak legs. Nose is a bit subdued but suggests citrus and earthy/herbal notes. Taste follows nose with the addition of a hint of spice towards the back, as well as cracker malts. Mouthfeel is light in body with a mildly crisp carbonation and a semi-dry finish. Overall, pretty solid and drinkable.
