Medium: 5 months capped, tulip glass.
Opacity: Clear and veiled, gets cloudy with the yeast.
Color: Brown with a caramel hue, poor activity.
Head: Slightly bubbly brown half a finger.
Legs: Decent but not much swirl reaction.
Smell: Brett yeast/Chocolate/Raspberries.
Taste: Cranberries/Floral/Wood/Walnuts.
Feel: Sour candies/Funky/Dry/Slightly roasted.
Body: Medium slick and smooth.
Carbonation: Extra crispy and a bit fluffy.
Overall: Unique style for me: A "dark wild ale", doesn't fit well because the dark feel is way too faint to be enjoyed. Although the rest of the assemblage is high quality, aged well too and not overly sour or acidic.
Visual 5.5/10 - Flavors 8/10 - Sensations 8.5/10 - Balance 8/10 -
Freshness 6/10 - Intensity 7/10 - Complexity 7/10 - Appreciation 8/10
