While most farmhouse/wild ales are pale in color, this one matches the Märzen color of darker amber. Hazy. Impressive starting head, slow to fade. Many spots and streaks left behind as the beer is consumed.
Sour, almost lemony, nose. Way in the background, there's some toasted malt.
The taste is a neutral (no fruit) sour. Fuller bodied with mid-level carbonation. Like the smell, is say this most resembles lemons. No sweetness, so pucker up. Long aftertaste.
