Poured from 330mL can into a tall kitchen glass. Best by 4/12/23.
Appearance: rich red-brown hue with a bit of haze and a finger of frothy tan foam atop. The head doesn't stick around very long at all, but the color is really nice.
Smell: rich, roasty, a little sweet, and a little caramelly. A solid English porter aroma.
Taste: a bit roasty and even a little dry up front; despite the light caramel sweetness there's enough astringency and roast for this to feel balanced for a porter. I actually quite like it.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a pretty big carbonation and a decent creaminess.
Overall: this is a solid porter. There don't seem to be a lot of porters available here in Hungary, and so this is definitely worth picking up if you see it around.
