We’re back for 2025 with a bold new Double NEIPA, following in the footsteps of last year’s hit — double dry-hopped, of course. This time, we packed it with a hefty 12 g/l of Strata and Zappa hops. Strata brings bright citrus and tropical fruit notes, while Zappa adds a refreshing twist with hints of grapefruit and mint.

I had this beer on-tap in an IPA glass at the Monyo taphouse on Kálvin tér in Budapest.
Appearance: super turbid medium yellow hue with a good head of frothy ivory foam.
Smell: sweet malt with a good dose of tropical fruit that has just a bit of dankness to it as well. Quite good!
Taste: similar to the aroma, it's got a sweet malt base and a good dose of tropical hops. Bitterness, or at least hop bite, is a bit overpronounced, though.
Mouthfeel: plenty of body and a good level of carbonation yield a lovely creaminess.
Overall: a solid hazy, although that bit of harshness from the hops could be toned down a hair.
