At my lady Pamela's house; canned and chilled, 473mL in a pint glass. From the Huron Church Rd. LCBO in nearby Windsor. Canned September 11/25. My fourth beer from the Hamilton, Ontario brewery, and third for 2025. Lovingly endorsed by Sundae the cat...

6.8% ABV per can. Purchased from the LCBO for around $3.40 CDN. Canning date of June 12, 2020.
Appearance - Pale rusty golden brown color with plenty of haze, a finger of dense and tight frothy white head and good staying power. Plenty of lacing left behind as the head diminishes.
Smell - Lots of tropical notes, mango, lychee, hints of pineapple and grapefruit as well. Pretty good aromatics although not the strongest if served cold. Also a little different with the lychee and mango focus.
Taste - Mango and guava and a little lychee followed up with a touch of lemon and grapefruit in the background. Good intense flavors and very fruity and rich with a different fruity aspect than many of the IPA's out there in the local market.
Mouthfeel - Medium -heavy bodied, a little stickier than some. Carbonation is middling and a touch of peppery astringency on the tongue at the close.
Overall - Maybe they've altered the recipe but if this beer I'm drinking is the final form, this is a winner and one of the better IPA's available in local market. Might not exceed CA or GLB, but isn't far off and can compete with Bench as one of the upstarts (if they are both still in this category) of the Southern Ontario beer market.

Pours slightly hazy with a one and a half inch head. Tropical fragrance on the nose. Taste is typical hoppy, bitter and tropical. Not extraordinary Not bad. Average. This beer is good but nothing unique. I’d buy it again, on occasion.
