12oz brown bottle with no freshness date, sample from the brewer.
Gorgeous looking head though the clarity could have been a bit better. Smells of lemon rind, bread crust, and nutty yeast. Husky graininess, muddled yeast, herbal hop, mild sweetness, mild astringent bite. Alcohol is a bit warming but does not really compliment, husky brothy finish.
This one needs to be cleaned up a bit more, hard to tell that it is indeed a lager with all of the yeasty overtones. Just simply did not taste like it was lagered properly.
