Was on the cape this week and got to enjoy some beers from Devil's Purse brewing. There Sevenstones DIPA was a nice surprise from what to me in past years was a craft brewery wasteland. This beer had nice tropical aromas with some funk added in the end from some Brett yeast used in the final fermentation. I needed a couple of sips because of the funk to decide if it was as good as I thought and it was better with each sip.

I was excited to taste this DIPA at the new Devils Purse brewery on Cape Cod. The smell is a strong dank, wet moss earthy aroma with a great complex finish. This DIPA does not taste like it is 8.2% ABV and is very smooth. The hops are spicy with hints of tropical fruit. I am really excited about this brewery and the stuff they are putting out. Hope they keep up their hoppy beers!
