Situated in the hotbed of haze, Devil's Purse opens up a Pandora's Box of juicy, creamy hazy hops to make a beer that's imperial in stature and chocked with the fruity, smooth and radiant flavors that are familiar to the region.
Skywind Huckabee leaps right out with a creamy matte pour of pastel golds shadowed with taupe. A radiant bouquet of citrus, stone fruit and a hint of tropical flavors lead into a soft herbal presence os hay and juniper greens. But first, a soft and creamy malt display greets the tongue with cereal, cream of wheat and light honey.
As the hops unfold, the middle palate is awaken with the juiciness of tangerine, pink grapefruit and light lime. As the tastebuds acclimate to the beer's flavors, a deeper fruit taste of peach and apricot have a light cobbler effect before the ale trails into a spicy hop bitterness of fresh spruce, tea leaf and hemp late in taste.
Smooth, full bodied and creamy throughout, a spicy hint of gin-like botanicals round out the finish as the ale extends with a smooth but balancing bitterness to appease hop heads and juicy fans alike.
