A smooth beer, not overly complicated taste. Feels like champagne on your tongue and lingers a bit. Not a strong taste, could be mistaken for a light beer. Some citrus in the middle of going down, but the bubbles are a prominent feel in the texture. The beer has a liquid gold look.

I've been a big fan of Devils Purse and its beers since several prior year visits to their taproom when on Cape Cod and am pleased to see their products now becoming more available on retail shelves. However, I must admit that I hesitated on purchasing this one due to the 8.5% ABV. Fortunately, I overcame that hesitation and now wish I'd purchased more than one can. The higher ABV seemed to be hardly noticeable although I'd be wary of consuming a number of cans at one sitting. Definitely worth a repurchase if I again find it available in my traveling area.
