Pours dark black with a creamy tan brown foam head. Notes of dark roasted malts, dark chocolate, espresso coffee, sweet caramel, toffee, brown sugar, molasses, hint of dried dark fruit, and earthy herbal grassy pine. Feels medium plus bodied, creamy with smooth moderate carbonation. Overall a really nice porter.
