Poured from a can into a pint glass. Dark brown with thin head and lacing. Pleasant dark chocolate smell and taste. Flavors of roasted malt, rye toast. A bit thin but overall a good stout.

CAN:
Silky and chocolatey without feeling syrupy or tasting cloying. Roasted barley would be welcome but never appears.
Oats keep the mouthfeel smooth. Medium-bodied, unrefreshing, wet, approachable.
A drinkable and enjoyable oatmeal stout that will appease fans of the style but won't dazzle.

03/27/19 CAN:
A serviceable oatmeal stout with no overt off-flavours or textural issues. There's room for improvement in terms of depth of flavour and complexity, but it's mostly balanced with a slight overtendency to drift sweet.
At $6.99 a sixer on-sale, I'm happy with it.

Pours a dark brown with khaki colored head. Chocolate, roasted malts, and some bread on the nose; follows onto the palate. Medium bodied. Finishes with chocolate, roast, and earth tones.
