I had high hopes for this one. It is a light lager but oh what an odd flavor. It’s reminiscent of lemon rind but more like lemon pledge. The mouthfeel is sharp and jarring. No head to speak of and the beer is surprisingly cloudy.
I am not really a fan. Better than some I have had, but I will choose something else from the Nine Band repertoire next time.
It’s a shame the beer is not as good as it’s namesake!
