Poured into a pilsener glass, the appearance was a ruddy pale yellow color with a good two finger white foamy head that died off at a nice pace leaving some sly speckled lace. The aroma had some sweet biscuit to grassy hopped goodness. Some light floral qualities slide in underneath. The flavor yields to the sweetness, somewhat biscuity to bready with the bittering grassy hops strolling in for a nice balance. Some clean cereal tones play nicely and end up assisting in the aftertaste. Quick grassy sweet finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation. Good smoothness along my tongue. Overall, nice German pilsener that I look forward to having again preferably in the Summer or even with it’s respected food.
