Poured into an English pint glass, the appearance was a semi-soft burnt orange almost copper color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that fell off at a good pace. Sly lace. The aroma had some citrusy to grassy hops playing with a biscuit-like to bready malt base. The flavor seemed to make a decent effort to blend the hops to the malts, but seems to lean just a tad towards the malts. Also, seems to find it’s way into the aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. ABV felt good. Overall, pretty good APA for the most part, I could come back to.
