On-tap at Bartlett Hall, San Francisco, CA
A: The beer is slightly hazy amber yellow in color and has a light amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high off white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles on the surface and down the sides of the glass.
S: Light to moderate aromas of passionfruit are present in the nose.
T: Similar to the smell, the taste has flavors of passionfruit along with notes of citrus. There is a slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is quite easy to drink given its low alcohol content. The hops impair some interesting aromas and flavors, but not as strong as compared to other IPAs. The lager is a little clean and has some bitterness from the hops.
