This is batch # 3 of this beer, at 13.2% AVB. Having this on/l-tap at the brewery in downtown San Francisco. Served to me in a tulip glass, this beer draws a very dark brown, almost black color with a dark tan head that’s about half an inch thick when first drawn and served. Settles eventually to a thick ring lining the inside of the glass. Not much lacing. Aromas of roasted malts, vanilla, chocolate, coconut, coffee, cinnamon, cacao nibs are all nicely, present. A very similar flavor profile, with the aforementioned roasted malts, vanilla, chocolate, coconut, coffee, cinnamon, cacao nibs that are all Rounded out with some earthy hop bitterness.
