Copenhagen 19/3 2020. 33 cl waxed and capped bottle from Mikkeller Web-shop. Dark label with mottled green squares in Nerdbrewing's usual over scribbled design.
Pours opaque dark brown with a small beige head. Settles as thin layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Very moderate lacing.
Aroma is actually able to emulate a somewhat boozy apple pie. with a fairly strong spicy touch. Sugared apples, brown sugar, marzipan, cinnamon and vanilla. Prominent touch of alcohol.
Light carbonation. Thick, viscous, heavy, creamy and sticky texture.
Flavor is intense and heavy sweet. No bitterness present. Aftertaste is sweet with the cinnamon peeking through. Lingering. Light boozy burn in the sweet finish.
You have to be a desset hound to really enjoy this. I am not too crazy about the cinnamon - but it is well made.

Pours jet black with chocolate colored foam.
Smell is sweet and rich with notes of chocolate, apples, cinnamon, oats and vanilla.
Taste is intense and sweet, but a bit less than the nose. Notes of chocolate, coffee, caramel, pie dough, apples, cinnamon and brown sugar.
Mouthfeel is perfect, thick and sludgy with good carbonation.
Overall, a terrific dessert stout, with fantastic mouthfeel.
