Pours jet black with low, tan head.
Smell is intense, roasted and very sweet. Notes of oak, vanilla, coffee, licorice, dark chocolate and burnt sugar.
Taste is rich, powerful and intense. Very sweet with some roasted hints. Notes of oak, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, chocolate fudge, licorice and some coconut. The huge amount of alcohol is extremely well hidden and only shows up as a warming sensation.
Mouthfeel is thick, velvety and smooth, well carbonated.
Overall, I can see a lot of people not liking this, because it is VERY sweet. But I love it!

Taste is rich, powerful and intense. Very sweet with some roasted hints. Notes of oak, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, chocolate fudge, licorice and some coconut. The huge amount of alcohol is extremely well hidden and only shows up as a warming sensation.
Mouthfeel is thick, velvety and smooth, well carbonated.
Overall, I can see a lot of people not liking this, because it is VERY sweet. But I love it!

#1800 - Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country... oh, and the ABV!
L- Pours absolutely black, even held right in front of a halogen bulb not a photon gets through it. A tiny patch of foam lasts about 5 seconds then is gone; unsurprising at this ABV% (surface tension etc).
S- Whiskey is prominent plus some charring.
T- Whiskey from the outset. Sweet... lactose? Then quite pungent notes + cocoa and finally a serious hot whiskey sensation 'going down!' on the swallow.
F- Big, very very rich but crossing the border into outright sweet. Massive ABV% that is there loud and clear and adds a glow all the way down in the swallow.
O- It's too sweet for me, it's almost sickly-sweet, or like a liquid medicine they sweeten to make it palatible. I don't recommend it unless you're ok with effectively sugary beer$. Very disappointing.
