Revolution II is the 2nd anniversary beer from Beaver Island Brewing. From their site -
IBU 74
SRM 8.1
ABV 6.4
It's time for our annual Revolution IPA Series to celebrate our second trip around the sun. This year we’ve created some single hop goodness using a boat load of Denali hops, which are causing quite a stir in brewing circles. This brew is bursting with tropical, stone fruit, and citrus flavors and aromas. Enjoy a pint to see what all the buzz is about.
It pours a light, clear amber color. The head was white, 2 finger, and frothy. The nose is very minmal - just the slightest hop hint. The taste is a lot more than the nose. There's a strong hop influence, that lingers all the way down the throat. Pine, citrus. Fairly well bodied. Probably the only down mark is the lack of nose, but everything else makes up for it.
