Pours a very clear golden color with a 1 finger white head. The retention is ok. Some lacing on the glass.
The nose is actually a lot more than I was expecting. There's a nice mixture of hops and the malts. They do make a pleasing aroma.
Taste - nothing too strong here. Some sweetness. Slight hop presence. Lefse doesn't have a strong flavor, and thus, I don't detect it in the beer.
Feel - About what I'd expect for this type of beer. Not too thin or watery, but not thick either.
Overall there isn't too much to say about this beer. Nothing wrong with it, but there isn't a lot here, either. I'd say that it was a good, and easy, beer for drinking at the MN State Fair.
