Scattered upon the majestic hills of the valley in Spalt, Germany are an abundance of magnificent cherry trees. To honor our sister city, we have brewed a Doppel Dunkel with Montmorency cherries. These bright red beauties have a sweet, tart flavor that complement the sturdy, rich malt character of the beer. Made with German malt, prized Spalter hops, and a small addition of milk sugar to balance. One glass might not be enough! Prost!
