Poured from an undated 12 oz. can: beautiful, new, copper penny hue with a sustained, foamy white head. The body resembles an English pale ale. (The label states the creator of Vienna Lager, Anton Dreher, in fact, used English pale ale malt.)
Spicy aromas with hints of biscuit and bread.
A very refreshing and sharply carbonated lager with a spicy and slight herbal first flavor profile, with hints of dark bread. It seems spot-on for the style - rivals many of the German interpretations.
Quite a surprise from a local brewery in Florida. It is listed as seasonal, so I need to buy another six-pack. I wish the brewery would use freshness dating on the cans.
